ROERO "BRIC VOLTA"
with Denomination of Controlled Origin
November 1st 1985

Already in the year 1583 the register of Estates
of Count Daniele Malabaila, states: "The Volta farm,
ploughing land with vines and "gerbido"a farmstead
within contiguos to San Damiano and Priocca villages
whose patch of vine-land expands into the Gardesana
until the Giardino meadow".

According to the tradition by adding a small quantity of Arneis
grapes, as a result its scent will be flavoury, typically, fruity,
while its taste will be dry and persistent; in its flavour you
can find out marasca cherry, roses and violets but also a light
trace of spices.

Gastronomic accompaniments:

when young it is delightfull with tasty, appetizing starters,
white meat and flavoursome first courses. After one year it
becomes excellent with red meats roasts, game and tasting cheese.
Serving temperature 16/18 degrees.
