Since the year 1362 Guidetto Malabaila owns "vineam Montiserrati in finibus et posse Castelletti " a vineyard named Montiserrati in the possessions of Castelletto in Canale; this we can find even into ancient documents of Lodovico d'Orleans dated 27th may 1494.
According to the tradition by adding a small quantity of Arneis grapes, as a result its scent will be flavoury, typically, fruity, while its taste will be dry and persistent; in its flavour you can find out marasca cherry, roses and violets but also a light trace of spices.
The wine matures in oak's barrique for about 18 months after fermented and stays 6 months to affinate in bottle before beeing ready for sale.
Gastronomic accompaniments:When young it is delightfull with tasty, appetizing starters, white meat and flavoursome first courses. After one year it becomes excellent with red meats roasts, game and tasting cheese.
Serving temperature 16/18° degrees.
